Manse Redevelopment Project

Toowong Baptist Church (TBC) is a vibrant, multicultural church in a prime location, serving international students, migrants, and local families. Over the years, we have grown from offering English and Cantonese services to include Mandarin and children’s ministries—reflecting God’s expanding work in our community.

In the past 10 years, our attendance has more than doubled. Today, weekly attendance exceeds 400, including over 85 children. This rapid growth has placed significant pressure on our existing facilities. Classrooms are overcrowded, and many fellowship groups lack adequate space to meet. The current Manse is also uninhabitable and no longer meets the needs of our ministries.

By God’s grace, we have received Brisbane City Council approval to redevelop the Manse into a three-storey multipurpose ministry building. This new facility will provide essential space for worship, teaching, fellowship, and care—equipping us to better serve our growing church family and local community.
