I. We accept the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the Inspired Word of God, and learn from them the following cardinal truths, which we adopt as our basis of action and bond of union as a Church of Jesus Christ.
II. We believe in the Unity of God, the Divinity and Personality of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: three equal Persons in the Godhead.
III. We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
IV. We believe in the salvation of sinners through repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; justification by faith in the imputed righteousness of Christ; regeneration and sanctification by the Spirit and Grace of God.
V. We believe in the necessity of complete obedience to all commandments of Christ and the precepts of the New Testament; administering baptism by immersion only to those persons who shall have given to this Church satisfactory evidence of their repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and admitting to membership such persons only as having been so baptised.
VI. The Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper shall be administered at such times as shall or may be specified in the Rules of this Church, and any who love the Lord in sincerity and in truth shall be welcome to sit with us.
