YAF

YAF (Young Adults Fellowship) caters for Year 11 and 12 as well as university students and workers in their twenties.

Pastor Russell Matthews leads this group.

The purpose of this fellowship is to explore together, through friendships and discussions, the changes Jesus and His message make, to the way they live.

This fellowship meets on Friday nights from 7 to 9pm.

For more information, please contact Cindy Ho.

Koinonia

Koinonia (a Greek word which means sharing, communion, fellowship) is a fellowship of young, experienced working adults who have Bible Studies at 7:30pm on Wednesday nights except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. They also come together for a monthly family gathering. Pastor Charles Byrne is the spiritual advisor of this group.

For more information, please contact Wilson Tam.

Berean Fellowship

Berean Fellowship draws its name from Acts 17:11 “Now the Bereans … examined the scriptures every day.”

The group meets every Sunday 10:30 till 12:00 to study passages of the Bible. To date it has been attended by the more senior members of the congregation but younger people are always welcome. Fellowship members often look at the same passage as the Sunday sermon. The underlying emphasis over the past year has been on correct interpretation of scripture, commonly known as hermeneutics. The need to read a passage within its canonical, historic, geographic and cultural context and to try to determine what the original writer intended before drawing the meaning and application is stressed.

Discussion is encouraged and real life examples, illustrating the principles being discussed, are often shared.

The Group is essentially one of Bible study but occasionally we do have extended prayer times where we break into smaller groups for sharing and prayer.

Ross Hohl leads this Fellowship Group. For more information, please contact Ross Hohl.

Joshua Fellowship

JF was set up to cater for the Cantonese-speaking uni students. It hopes to provide a spiritual home especially for overseas students.

JF also aims to evangelise to non-believing students and to serve be a companion for those who believe in Jesus. We will have worship, bible study, funny activities (some are more bible-based), group sharing and praying.

Please contact Kenneth Wan for more information.
